Do Not Despise Those Whom God Chooses

God chose Saul—a Jewish Rabbi and murderer of Christians—to spread the good news of the Kingdom of Heaven to the rest of the world. God is still choosing those who are controversial—even offensive—to the believers to perform the most amazing tasks for God’s Kingdom!

In this video, Shawn shares a few helpful points about how to discern the God-purpose within the unexpected people God chooses to raise up as well as how to discern boundaries for what part of them is not yet discipled—but without condemnation.

Remember, the spirit of condemnation is from Satan: “There is now no condemnation to those who…walk according to the Spirit.” Romans 8:1. This scripture doesn’t mean that believers are no longer condemned by God, since God does not condemn people (only Satan does). Rather, Romans 8:1 means that the whole idea of condemnation is off-limits for spiritual believers in every area of their lives, including how they look upon others.

Brother or sister in Christ, do not practice condemnation! Do not even let any words of condemnation pass by your ears! It is so toxic to your heart that it shuts down the work of the Holy Spirit within you and activates the flesh! Condemnation is what the world is doing right now, so we can be sure that it is not of God. Be holy—separate—from the world. Instead, abstain from judgment, wait on the Lord, and seek spiritual discernment for how to proceed in love.

It’s hard work—and so worth it!
