Went to the Christmas Village in Baltimore, MD with my family, as we always do in December. When we stepped into the heated tent, we saw a church worship band up on stage, singing about Yeshua’s birth. That immediately made my heart happy because you don’t hear a lot of Christ during Christmas around these parts.
My two-year old was eyes-fixed on the stage, so we sat in the front to listen to the singing and wait for the polka dancers. My daughter pulled me up front to dance to the music because she is used to worship dancing together at home. So we worshipped, and the Holy Spirit fell on us for ten minutes until the band’s set ended.
I went up to the band after they came off stage. “Thanks for leading worship, did you feel the Holy Spirit come down near the end?” I asked. “Yes, it was amazing! Thanks for actually worshipping,” they responded. I could tell they were spiritual Christians. I offered them prayer.
God gave me words of knowledge and prophecies for each one of them. God also gave one of them a word of knowledge and an encouragement for my family. We finished our time of ministry by praying in a big group, exchanging cards, and looking forward to when we could gather again.
“I don’t know why we have met, but this is no coincidence; it’s a divine appointment,” said the pastor of the worship band, who came with the group. “I agree,” I said, and, “I look forward to connecting online and being open to what the Holy Spirit wants to do.”
We all exclaimed, “Merry Christmas and talk soon!” as we parted ways, for in Christ, Believers can meet and connect like old friends after one Holy Spirit moment together.
Have you ever had a divine appointment? What was its fruit?
