I’ve heard a lot of terrible church teaching about sex and marriage over the years (and some even worse teaching outside the church), but I think this podcast, Heaven in Your Home, is going to redeem them all.
The podcaster (is that a word?) is Francie Winslow, a wife and mom who loves both male and female bodies, loves God’s gift of sex, and sees her marriage to Wyatt as a mission to prove the joy, love, and power of God that can be cultivated in family. That all sounds like good news!
The line that stuck in my head as I binge-listened to the first eight episodes went something like this:
“The invisible God created a man and a woman so that when they were joined [in sex and in marriage], God’s nature could become visible.”
